Whole Grain Pasta

    Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of whole-grain penne pasta

  • 1tsp of unbleached wheat flour

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 1 tbsp table butter (melted)

  • 1 glass of water

  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded, part-skim

  • A tiny pinch of salt, pepper, ground rosemary, 1/4 tsp garlic powder,1/4 tsp of Cinnamon, and a tiny pinch of dill weed and parsley for flavor.

    Directions

  • First, mix the unbleached flour, whole milk, and butter in a bowl until they are well combined.

  • In a sauce pot, put the mixture on medium heat and cook for about 5 minutes, until it becomes sticky. Add some water at this point to thin it out.

  • Next, add the pasta and cook it for 10-12 minutes until it is done.

  • Next, wash the broccoli and blackberries thoroughly.

  • Then steam the broccoli for 3-5 minutes.

  • Then cut the pasta and broccoli into bite-sized pieces so that your toddler can chew them.

    You can enjoy this recipe as a tasty and simple lunch or dinner for yourself as well.

    Ensure that all food is fully cooled down before serving it to your child (to an appropriate temperature).
