Chopped Steak with Steamed Potato, Carrot and Beetroot

Steak

    Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound Slice of organic New York strip steak (optional). Alternatively, you can choose a different type of fatless beef steak.

  • a tiny pinch of salt and pepper, 1/4 tsp ground rosemary, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, and a tiny pinch of dill weed for flavor

  • 1 carrot, 1 potato, and 1 medium size beetroot (or you can choose any other vegetable you have).

    Directions

  • Heat the oven to 400°F and add the steak. Cook for 10-12 minutes until it is well done.

  • Ensure that the vegetables are thoroughly washed under running water.

  • Then add the beetroot to the boiling water of the pot and let it cook for 15 minutes until it gets tender.

  • Add the carrot and potato at the end and let them cook together for 10 minutes.

  • Once all the ingredients are ready, cut them into pieces so your child can chew them.

    The recipe is not just for your child; it is a tasty and simple lunch or dinner for you as well. So, you don't need to prepare separate meals for yourself and your child :)
